2018. I do know the transportation from Canada to Glacier may require private transportation now.

I was afraid this would happen. It was literally the ONLY option we had and we paid no where near $1000. I actually worked my schedule around there’s at the time.

Unfortunately, they said the could only provide private transport for close to $1000! They said they no longer have a regular shuttle due to car rental companies “not reopening in East Glacier Park Village”. This is so frustrating as it seems impossible to get from Calgary to Whitefish (my ultimate destination) except for flying with a stop on the west coast. In your research did you find any other options?

Both parks are soooo beautiful! If you already have nights booked in Glacier, then concentrate there this time and book another trip for Banff and explore Calgary to Jasper another time. You won’t regret it!

Hi Melanie! Your photos are incredible! I’m currently planning our Glacier vacation and wanted to ask after reading….which park was your favorite? I can’t decide whether to include a drive up to Banff or concentrate on just Glacier. First time visit!! We already have flights in and out of Kalispell with rental and two nights at Many Glacier. Only 8 days to plan….should I choose just one park? your advice is appreciated 🙂
